DESCRIPTION
If a malfunction (a rapid change in vehicle speed) in the vehicle speed signal being output from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is detected while the dynamic radar cruise control is operating, the ECM determines that there is a momentary interruption or noise, and stores a DTC.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
This DTC may be set by the vehicle stability control system at the same time. In that case, perform troubleshooting for the vehicle stability control system first.
PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (ABS/VSC/TRAC)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.

CHECK FOR DTCs
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
Turn the dynamic radar cruise control system on using the cruise control switch (ON-OFF button).
Push the cruise control switch to -SET to activate the dynamic radar cruise control system.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Cruise Control / Trouble Codes.
