ROOF HEADLINING INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      Align the alignment mark (orange) on the a new rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install it.

      Note

      After installation, check that the corners fit correctly.

  2. INSTALL REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

      Align the alignment mark (white) on a new rear door opening trim weatherstrip RH with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install it.

      Note

  3. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

      Align the alignment mark (blue) on a new front door opening trim weatherstrip LH with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install it.

      Note

  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

      Align the alignment mark (pink) on a new front door opening trim weatherstrip RH with the protruding portion on the body indicated by the arrow in the illustration, and install it.

      Note

  5. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Standard)

      Install the 3 clips to the roof headlining assembly.

      Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the rear door as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.

    3. Engage the guide.

    4. Engage the 3 clips to install the roof headlining assembly.

    5. Engage the 12 claws and 11 fasteners.

    6. Connect the 3 connectors and engage the 3 clamps to the front pillar LH.

    7. Engage the 2 clamps to the front pillar RH.

    8. w/o Roof Antenna:


      1. Connect the connector and engage the clamp to the rear pillar RH.

    9. w/ Roof Antenna:


      1. Connect the 2 connectors and engage the clamp to the rear pillar RH.

    10. Connect the connector to the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

    11. w/ Lane Departure Alert System:


      1. Connect the connector to the lane departure warning camera.

    12. w/ Rain Sensor:


      1. Connect the connector to the rain sensor.

    13. Connect the connector to the inner rear view mirror assembly.

  6. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY (for Glass Roof)

      Install the 3 clips to the roof headlining assembly.

      Put the roof headlining assembly into the vehicle through the rear door as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.

    3. Engage the guide.

    4. Engage the 3 clips to install the roof headlining assembly.

    5. Engage the 12 claws and 23 fasteners.

    6. Connect the 3 connectors and engage the 3 clamps to the front pillar LH.

    7. Engage the 2 clamps to the front pillar RH.

    8. Connect the 2 connectors and engage the clamp to the rear pillar RH.

    9. Connect the connector to the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

    10. w/ Lane Departure Alert System:


      1. Connect the connector to the lane departure warning camera.

    11. Connect the connector to the rain sensor.

    12. Connect the connector to the inner rear view mirror assembly.

  7. INSTALL VISOR HOLDER

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Push in the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL VISOR ASSEMBLY LH


    1. Install the visor assembly LH with the 2 screws.

  9. INSTALL VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the visor bracket cover.

      Tech Tips

      If the result is not as specified, the guides are not engaged properly. Reinstall the lane departure warning camera cover.

      Note

      Be careful not to push in the lip of the lane departure warning camera cover as it is soft.

  19. INSTALL RAIN SENSOR COVER (w/ Rain Sensor)

    1. Engage the 5 claws to install the rear seat side garnish LH.

  27. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH LH


    1. Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar upper garnish LH.

    2. Engage the clip.

    3. Install the center pillar upper garnish LH with the 2 screws.

  28. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH


    1. Engage the 2 claws and 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 5 clips to install the center pillar lower garnish LH.

  29. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    1. Engage the 8 claws to install the rear door scuff plate LH.

  30. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH


    1. Remove the protective cover.

    2. Make sure that the front pillar garnish clip is not damaged.

      Note

      If there is any damage, replace the garnish clip with a new one.

      Install the front pillar garnish clip to the front pillar garnish LH.

      Tech Tips

      Install the front pillar garnish clip as shown in the illustration.

    4. Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

  31. INSTALL FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH


    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Engage the 3 claws to install the front door opening trim cover LH.

    1. Engage the clip and claw.

    2. Install the cowl side trim board LH with the clip.

    1. Engage the 10 claws to install the front door scuff plate LH.
