REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK MANUAL OPERATION


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. When the rear window shade assembly is lowered, push the rear sunshade switch (combination switch assembly or cooler control switch assembly*). Check that the rear window shade assembly is raised.

    3. When the rear window shade assembly is raised, push the rear sunshade switch (combination switch assembly or cooler control switch assembly*). Check that the rear window shade assembly is lowered.

  2. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE OPERATION AFTER ENGINE SWITCH IS TURNED OFF


    1. Turn the engine switch from on (IG) to off, and check that the rear window shade assembly can be operated.

    2. Turn the engine switch from on (IG) to off and wait for approximately 60 seconds. Check that the rear window shade assembly cannot be operated.

  3. CHECK SHIFT-LINKED FUNCTION


    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    2. When the rear window shade assembly is raised, move the shift lever to R. Check that the rear window shade assembly is lowered.

    3. Then, when any of the following conditions is met, check that the rear window shade assembly is raised.


      • The rear sunshade switch (combination switch assembly or cooler control switch assembly*) is pushed.

      • The shift lever is moved to P.

      • The shift lever is moved to D and vehicle speed reaches 15 km/h (9.3 mph) or more.

      • Engine switch is turned off.
