REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY REASSEMBLY


  1. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 20 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 34 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

  2. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 28 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seatback cover to the bench type rear seatback pad with 30 new hog rings.

  3. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. A01G9G5

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear center seat headrest supports.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for LH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for RH Side)

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  6. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE


    1. A01G9SA

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear center seat shoulder belt guide with the 2 screws.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE LH


    1. A01G8Y6

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide LH with the 2 screws.

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH with the 2 screws.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT WIRE (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the 3 clamps to install the rear seat wire.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  10. INSTALL HEATER WIRE (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the 2 clamps to install the 2 heater wires.

    2. Connect the 2 connectors.

  11. INSTALL SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.


    1. Install the seat heater control sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

    2. Connect the connector.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

    CAUTION:


    • The nuts must not be reused.

    • Make sure that the bench type rear seatback pad is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.


    1. Install the rear seat airbag assembly with 4 new nuts.

      Torque:
      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

      Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seatback cover.

      • When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

    3. Engage the clamp and the fastener to secure the airbag wire harness.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST BOX

      Install the rear center seat armrest box to the rear center seat armrest pad as shown in the illustration.

    2. A01G9PV

      Engage each hook to connect the rear center seat armrest cover sub-assembly to the rear center seat armrest box.

  15. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX WIRE (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Engage the 3 clamps to install the rear console box wire.

  16. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Insert the rear center seat armrest cup holder sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. Install the rear center seat armrest cup holder sub-assembly with the 3 screws.

  17. INSTALL COOLER CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      1. Install the cooler control switch assembly Click here.

  18. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST BOX ASSEMBLY


    1. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

        Engage the 4 claws to install the rear center seat armrest box assembly.

  19. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

        Engage the 3 guides and 8 claws to install the rear center seat armrest panel sub-assembly with the rear center seat armrest box assembly.

      2. Install the screw.

    2. w/ Climate Control Seat System

        Engage the 3 guides and 8 claws to install the rear center seat armrest panel sub-assembly with the cooler control switch assembly.

      2. Install the screw.

  20. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the center armrest lock sub-assembly with the 4 screws.

  21. INSTALL ARMREST CONSOLE HINGE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Install the armrest console hinge sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  22. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 CENTER SEAT ARMREST PLATE

      Install the rear No. 1 center seat armrest plate with the 4 screws.

  23. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST DOOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear center seat armrest door sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

    3. Close the rear center seat armrest door sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

  24. INSTALL CENTER SEAT INNER ARMREST PLATE

      Engage the 9 claws and 3 guides to install the center seat inner armrest plate to the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly.

  25. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY

      Engage the hook to install the rear center seat armrest assembly to the rear seat armrest hole board sub-assembly.

  26. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST HINGE

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the rear center seat armrest hinge with the 2 bushes and 2 screws.

      Torque:
      4.6 N*m  { 47 kgf*cm, 41 in.*lbf }

  27. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY WITH BOX

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }
