DESCRIPTION

When the front power seat switch LH or front power seat switch RH do not receive a sensor signal despite forward or backward movement of the seatback by power seat motor operation, this DTC is stored.

  2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (RECLINING MOTOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Disconnect the Z2 reclining motor connector.

    2. Check if the seatback moves smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.

  7. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH - RECLINING MOTOR)


    1. Disconnect the X9 front power seat switch LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      X9-11 (RCL-) - Z2-1 Always Below 1 Ω

  8. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (RECLINING MOTOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
