FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR INSTALLATION


  1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Apply gasoline to 2 new O-rings and then install them to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

    2. Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly.

  2. INSTALL FUEL PUMP WITH FILTER ASSEMBLY

      *1 Fuel Pump Filter Seal
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Install the fuel pump spacer onto the fuel pump with filter assembly.

    2. Install a new fuel pump filter seal onto the fuel pump with filter assembly.

    3. Apply a coat of gasoline to the fuel pump filter seal.

    4. Engage the 5 claws of the fuel pump with filter assembly.

      Note


      • Engage the claws securely.

      • Do not remove the suction filter.

    5. Engage the 2 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support.

    6. Connect the fuel pump harness connector.

    7. Engage the 2 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support and install the fuel filter and the fuel pump with filter assembly onto the fuel sub-tank.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the tube or the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      Align the groove of the fuel pump filter hose with the cutout of the fuel sub-tank and install the fuel pump filter hose.

    9. Connect the connector of the fuel pump harness.

  3. INSTALL FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

      Install the fuel sender gauge assembly by sliding it downward.

    2. Connect the connector of the fuel sender gauge assembly.

    3. Install the 2 wire harness protectors.

      Note

      Do not damage the wire harness.

    4. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.

      Note

      Do not damage the wire harness.
