INSTALL TIMING CHAIN COVER OIL SEAL
Apply MP grease to the lip of a new timing chain cover oil seal.
Note
Do not allow foreign matter to contact the lip of the timing chain cover oil seal.
Do not allow MP grease to contact the dust seal.
Using SST and a hammer, tap in the timing chain cover oil seal until its surface is flush with the timing chain cover edge.
Note
Keep the lip of the timing chain cover oil seal free from foreign matter.
Do not tap in the timing chain cover oil seal at an angle.
INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY
Align the crankshaft pulley key with the key groove of the crankshaft pulley.

Using SST, hold the crankshaft pulley and install the pulley bolt.
Tech Tips
Insert a few washers (thickness: approximately 5 mm (0.197 in.)) between SST(09213-70011) and SST(09214-00030).
INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

Set the V-ribbed belt onto each part as shown in the illustration except the engine water pump pulley.
Loosen the V-ribbed belt by turning the belt tensioner clockwise.
Set the V-ribbed belt onto the water pump pulley.
Note
Make sure that the V-ribbed belt is attached to each pulley. In particular, make sure that the V-ribbed belt is securely fitted into the grooves of each pulley.
