PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. A0005R6

      Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 6 bolts.

      Torque:
      61 N*m  { 622 kgf*cm, 45 ft.*lbf }
    2. A0008JF

      Engage the 6 clamps.

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER


    1. A0007YT

      Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER STAY LH


    1. A0004O1

      Engage the 3 claws.

    2. A0008N8

      Engage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the front bumper stay LH with the bolt.

      Torque:
      5.4 N*m  { 55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf }

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. A0006DD

      Engage the 11 claws.

    2. A0005MY

      Install the lower radiator grille moulding with the 4 screws.

  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH


    1. A0009PS

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper hole cover LH with the screw.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Engage the 16 claws to install the lower radiator grille sub-assembly.

  9. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING


    1. A00056X

      Engage the 12 claws.

    2. A0007UR

      Install the radiator grille moulding with the 4 screws.

  10. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE


    1. A0005D5

      Engage the 6 guides and 12 claws to install the radiator grille.

    2. A0007VO

      Install the 2 screws.

    3. A0003T3

      Install the radiator grille with the 6 screws and 2 clips.

  11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM


    1. A000736

      Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Install the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem with 2 new spring nuts.

  12. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

  13. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL


    1. Clean the front bumper assembly.


      1. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the front bumper assembly.

      2. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new radiator grille seal.

      Tech Tips

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

      Engage the 5 clips to install the radiator grille seal.

      Engage the 5 claws to install the fog light cover LH.

  19. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Engage the claw to install the front fender liner retainer.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  20. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Type A)


    1. A0008IM

      Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  21. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Type B)

      Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  22. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Engage the 10 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.
