FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

   REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

   
   

   1. Type A:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

   2. Type B:

      
      
      1. 

         Remove the 2 screws.

      2. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

2. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the claw and remove the front fender liner retainer.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

3. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the 2 claws.

      Hook

   2. Disengage the hook and remove the front bumper hole cover.

4. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Click here

5. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER WASHER NOZZLE COVER RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Click here

7. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. Click here

   REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.

9. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

10. Click here

    REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    for Front Sensor: (Click here)

11. Click here

    REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    for Corner Sensor: (Click here)

12. Click here

    REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

    Click here

14. Click here

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 3 screws and fog light mounting bracket LH.

16. Click here

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 3 claws and remove the fog light cover LH.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 4 clips and remove the radiator grille seal.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 spring nuts.

    2. Disengage the guide and claw and remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 clips and 4 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 14 claws and 4 guides and remove the radiator grille.

    REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 12 claws and remove the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOULDING

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 6 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 12 claws.

    3. 

       Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper moulding as shown in the illustration.

24. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the bolt.

    2. Using a screw driver, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. 

       Disengage the 3 claws and remove the front bumper stay LH.

25. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front bumper energy absorber.

27. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 6 clamps.

    2. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
