FRONT BUMPER DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

   REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

   Click here

   REMOVE FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

   REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR WITH CLIP (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR WITH CLIP (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

5. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   Click here

6. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the 10 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

7. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Type A)

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 2 screws.

   2. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

8. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET (for Type B)

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 2 screws.

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

9. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

   
   
   1. 

      Disengage the claw to remove the front fender liner retainer.

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 4 claws.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the front bumper hole cover.

11. Click here

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 3 screws and fog light mounting bracket LH.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 5 claws to remove the fog light cover LH.

    REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SEAL

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 5 clips and remove the radiator grille seal.

    REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Pre-crash Safety System)

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 spring nuts.

    2. Disengage the guide and claw to remove the radiator grille (or front panel) emblem.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 2 clips and 6 screws.

    3. 

       Disengage the 12 claws and 6 guides to remove the radiator grille.

    REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 4 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 12 claws to remove the radiator grille moulding.

    REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 16 claws to remove the lower radiator grille sub-assembly.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the 4 screws.

    2. 

       Disengage the 11 claws to remove the lower radiator grille moulding.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY LH

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the bolt.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the clip as shown in the illustration.

    3. 

       Disengage the 3 claws to remove the front bumper stay LH.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER STAY RH

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

27. Click here

    REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Disengage the 6 clamps.

    2. 

       Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly.
