REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB

   
   

   1. 

      Turn the rear light socket and wire with the back-up light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and disconnect them as a unit.

   2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

2. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR FOG LIGHT BULB

   
   

   1. 

      Turn the rear light socket and wire with the No. 1 rear fog light bulb in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove them as a unit.

   2. Remove the No. 1 rear fog light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector and remove the rear light socket and wire.

4. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the rear light gasket.

      Note

      
      

      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old gasket from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

5. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT PROTECTOR

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the 2 rear combination light protectors.

      Note

      
      

      • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old protectors from the body.

      • Do not reuse the removed protectors. Be sure to install a new rear combination light protectors to prevent water ingress.
