  • Confirm that there are no CAN communication malfunctions before performing the following inspection Click here.

  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.

Tech Tips


    If the forward recognition camera stores a DTC for a malfunction of any of the following, this DTC will be stored simultaneously.

  • Vehicle speed sensor

  • Yaw rate and acceleration sensor

  • Steering angle sensor

  • CAN communication system

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK FOR DTC (HEALTH CHECK)


    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the Techstream on.

    4. Enter the following menus: System Select / Health Check.

    5. Check for DTCs.

    1. Check if a dynamic radar cruise control system, lane departure alert system or pre-crash safety system warning message is displayed on the multi-information display.
