AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. Automatic high beam system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and to repair it.

  2. CHECK DLC3


    1. Check the DLC3 (Click here).

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


    1. A00097RE01

      When the automatic high beam system malfunctions, Check AHB System is displayed on the multi-information display.

      Tip:

      • In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stores DTCs (Click here).

      • When the system returns to normal, Check AHB System is no longer displayed on the multi-information display.
