  • If the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is replaced, refer to Service Bulletin.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Check that the relay operates.

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUXILIARY BATTERY - INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY)


    1. A00059ME03

      Disconnect the 3E*1 or 3F*2 instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3E-1*1 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      3F-1*2 - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V

      • *2: for RHD

    INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly (Click here).

    2. A0008N9E01

      Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

    3. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 3E-1*1 or 3F-1*2.

    4. Connect a negative (-) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal MB-14 (TRLY).

    5. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      3D-7 - Auxiliary battery negative terminal Always 11 to 14 V
      3D-8 - Auxiliary battery negative terminal Always 11 to 14 V
      3C-5 - Auxiliary battery negative terminal Always 11 to 14 V
