  1. DESCRIPTION


    1. Lighting system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the GTS to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.

  2. CHECK DLC3


    1. Check the DLC3 (Click here).

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE


    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with power switch off.

      Standard Voltage
      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM


    1. If a LED headlight system malfunctions, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is displayed on the multi-information display.

      Tip:

      • In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stores DTCs (Click here).

      • When the system returns to normal, "Headlight System Malfunction Visit Your Dealer" is no longer displayed on the multi-information display.
