WIPER SWITCH INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

   
   
   1. 

      Engage the claw to install the windshield wiper switch assembly as shown in the illustration.

   2. Connect each connector.

   INSTALL TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH (for RHD)

   
   

   1. for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column:

      Tip:

      Use the same procedure as for LHD (Click here).

3. Click here

   INSTALL UPPER STEERING COLUMN COVER

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 claws to install the upper steering column cover.

   2. Engage the 4 clips and 2 guides to install the instrument cluster finish panel to the upper steering column cover.

4. Click here

   INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 claws.

   2. install the screw.

      2.0 N*m

      20 kgf*cm

      18 in.*lbf

   3. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.

      2.0 N*m

      20 kgf*cm

      18 in.*lbf

   4. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.

      2.0 N*m

      20 kgf*cm

      18 in.*lbf

5. Click here

   INSTALL LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column)

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 claws.

   2. Engage the 2 claws.

   3. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the left and install the screw.

      2.0 N*m

      20 kgf*cm

      18 in.*lbf

   4. Turn the steering wheel assembly to the right and install the lower steering column cover with the screw.

      2.0 N*m

      20 kgf*cm

      18 in.*lbf

6. Click here

   CONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)

   Note:
   

   • Reset the auto tilt away function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter (Click here).

   • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Click here).

7. Click here

   INSTALL LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column)
