PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH

      Component without harness connected

      (Fuel Lid Opener Switch)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      4 (B) - 1 (L) Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω
      4 (B) - 1 (L) Not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch assembly.

    2. Check that the switch illuminates.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the switch illuminates.

        OK
        Measurement Condition Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 3

        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the bulb.
