LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE PLATE

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage lock control cable plate.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE

   
   

   1. 

      Remove the luggage compartment door inside handle from the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP

   
   

   1. 

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide and open the cover.

   2. 

      Remove the 2 screws and luggage compartment door assist grip.

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

   
   

   1. w/o Power Trunk Lid System:

      
      

      1. 

         Using a clip remover, remove the 11 clips and luggage compartment door cover.

   2. w/ Power Trunk Lid System:

      
      

      1. 

         Using a clip remover, remove the 11 clips.

      2. 

         Disengage the 2 claws and remove the luggage compartment door cover.

5. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Trunk Lid System)

7. REMOVE LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

   Click here

8. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY

   Click here

9. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

   2. 

      Disengage the clamp.

   3. Remove the 2 nuts and luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

10. REMOVE LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH

11. REMOVE LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the clip and guide and remove the luggage lock control cable clamp.

12. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

    
    

    1. 

       Disengage the clamp.

    2. Remove the clip and luggage compartment door hinge cover LH.

13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

14. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER PAD LH (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

15. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER PAD RH (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

16. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

17. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

18. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FRONT TRIM COVER (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

19. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

20. REMOVE ROPE HOOK (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

       Remove the clip and luggage compartment door hinge cover RH.

24. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

       Disengage the 2 claws and remove the 2 luggage compartment door cushions.
