DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a malfunction is detected in the driver seat buckle switch circuit or passenger seat buckle switch circuit.

This circuit uses CAN communication. Therefore, be sure to check that the CAN communication system is normal before performing inspection.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      CAN communication system DTC is not output.

  2. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (AIRBAG SYSTEM)


    1. Check for airbag system DTCs (Click here).

      OK
      Airbag system DTCs are not output.

  3. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    6. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC B2074 is not output.

    • OK

      CHECK FOR INTERMITTENT PROBLEMS (SYMPTOM SIMULATION) (Click here)

    • NG

      REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU (Click here)
