DESCRIPTION

The illuminated entry system controls the power switch illumination.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Active Test.

    5. Check that the illumination operates.

      When performing this Active Test, make sure the following condition is met:

      The power switch illumination is off (15 seconds or more have elapsed since it turned from on to off) and the power switch is on (ACC) or on (IG), or the hybrid control system is running.

      OK
      Power switch illumination comes on.

    INSPECT POWER SWITCH


    1. Remove the power switch (Click here).

    2. Inspect the power switch (Click here).

      OK
      Power switch illumination comes on.

  3. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SWITCH - CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY))


    1. Disconnect the H194 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.

    2. Disconnect the H44 power switch connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H44-9 (SWIL) - H194-16 (SWIL) Always Below 1 Ω
      H44-6 (AGND) - H194-24 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
      H44-9 (SWIL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      H44-6 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    • OK

      REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

    • NG

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
