  1. ILLUMINATED ENTRY SYSTEM


    1. The illuminated entry system has the following control functions:

      Control Outline Lights that Operate
      Actuation Area-linked When a registered key enters any actuation area around the doors, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Roof Console Box Assembly (Front Interior Light)

      • Spot Light Assembly (Rear Interior Light)

      When a registered key leaves all of the actuation areas around the doors, the lights that operate turn off.
      Door Lock/Unlock-linked When any door is unlocked, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Roof Console Box Assembly (Front Interior Light)

      • Spot Light Assembly (Rear Interior Light)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Front Footwell Lights)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Rear Footwell Lights)

      • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Front Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Rear Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Interior Illumination Light Sub-assembly (Instrument Panel Ambient Light)*1

      When all doors are locked, the lights that operate turn off.
      Door Open/Close-linked When any door is opened, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Roof Console Box Assembly (Front Interior Light)

      • Spot Light Assembly (Rear Interior Light)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Front Footwell Lights)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Rear Footwell Lights)

      • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Front Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Rear Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Interior Illumination Light Sub-assembly (Instrument Panel Ambient Light)*1

      When all doors are closed, the lights that operate turn off.
      Power Switch-linked When the power switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off, the lights that operate turn on.
      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Roof Console Box Assembly (Front Interior Light)

      • Spot Light Assembly (Rear Interior Light)

      When the power switch is turned from off to on (ACC or IG), the lights that operate turn off.
      When the power switch is turned from off to on (IG), the lights that operate turn on.

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Rear Footwell Lights)

      • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Front Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Rear Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Interior Illumination Light Sub-assembly (Instrument Panel Ambient Light)*1

      Shift Position-linked When the power switch is on (IG) and the shift lever is moved out of P, the lights that operate dim.

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Rear Footwell Lights)

      • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Front Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Rear Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Interior Illumination Light Sub-assembly (Instrument Panel Ambient Light)*1

      Delay

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after any of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • An actuation area-linked function is used.

      • The door unlock-linked function is active.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the power switch is off.


      • Power Switch Illumination

      • Roof Console Box Assembly (Front Interior Light)

      • Spot Light Assembly (Rear Interior Light)

      When approximately 15 seconds elapse after either of the following conditions is met, the lights that operate turn off:


      • The door unlock-linked function is active.

      • Any door is opened and then all doors are closed when the power switch is off.


      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Front Footwell Lights)

      • No. 1 Interior Illumination Light Assembly (Rear Footwell Lights)

      • Front Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Front Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Rear Door Trim Board Sub-assembly (Rear Door Ambient Lights)*1

      • Interior Illumination Light Sub-assembly (Instrument Panel Ambient Light)*1

      Battery Saving

      When 20 minutes elapse after the power switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.

      Tip:

      Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.


      • The power switch is turned on (ACC or IG)

      • Any door is opened and closed

      • The luggage compartment door is opened and closed

      • Any door is unlocked

      • The key enters any exterior actuation area
