DESCRIPTION

B2764

After normal/trouble signal is output from intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) as result of self-diagnosis, following malfunctions are detected:


  1. Short to ground in ISIF line circuit

  2. Reception of signals other than normal/trouble signal

  • Intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) (roof console box assembly)

  • Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

  • Wire harness or connector

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INTRUSION SENSOR (THEFT WARNING ULTRASONIC SENSOR) (ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY) - BODY GROUND)


    1. Disconnect the H9 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H9-12 (ISIF) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    • OKClick here
    • NG

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

  2. Click here

    REPLACE INTRUSION SENSOR (THEFT WARNING ULTRASONIC SENSOR) (ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY)


    1. Replace the intrusion sensor (theft warning ultrasonic sensor) (roof console box assembly) (Click here).


  3. Click here

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG), then off.

    3. Set the theft deterrent system to "ARMED STATE".

    4. Check that the security indicator changes from illuminated to blinking.

    5. Set the theft deterrent system to "DISARMED STATE".

    6. Check for DTCs (Click here).

      OK
      DTC B2764 is not output.

    • OK

      END (INTRUSION SENSOR (THEFT WARNING ULTRASONIC SENSOR) (ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY) WAS DEFECTIVE)

    • NG

      REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) (Click here)
