      Note:

Any keys or ECUs for which registration has been performed cannot be reused.

    2. When the auxiliary battery is discharged, if the auxiliary battery of another vehicle is used to jump start the hybrid control system, move the shift lever to P and open and close the driver door with the power switch off before starting the hybrid control system.

    3. After the auxiliary battery is removed and reinstalled, open and close the driver door, and be sure to wait 10 seconds or more before the next hybrid control system start. The hybrid control system may not start immediately after the auxiliary battery is reinstalled.

      Tip:
      • After disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery cable, the hybrid control system may not start on the first attempt. If this occurs, turn the power switch off. The hybrid control system will start normally from the second time onward.

      • When the auxiliary battery cable is disconnected and reconnected, the power source mode returns to the mode it was in before the auxiliary battery cable was disconnected.
