POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM All Doors LOCK/UNLOCK Functions do not Operate Via Door Control Switch

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) receives switch signals from the door control switch assembly on the front passenger door and activates the door lock motor on each door according to these signals.

PROCEDURE


  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      ON: Lock side of door control switch assembly pushed

  2. INSPECT DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the door control switch assembly Click here.

    2. Inspect the door control switch assembly Click here.

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSEMBLY - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU))


    1. Disconnect the H10 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for LHD

      L5-2 (UL) - H10-10 (UL1) Always Below 1 Ω
      L5-4 (L) - H10-9 (L1) Always Below 1 Ω
      L5-3 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      L5-2 (UL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      L5-4 (L) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      for RHD

      M12-2 (UL) - H10-10 (UL1) Always Below 1 Ω
