ULTRASONIC SENSOR(for Rear Side) REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

   REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY

   (Click here)

2. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR WITH CLIP

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for all No. 2 ultrasonic sensor with clips.

   
   
   1. 

      Disconnect the connector.

      Tip:

      The illustration is for the corner LH side. The orientation for the other sensors is the opposite of the corner LH side.

   2. Disengage the clamp.

   3. 

      Disengage the 2 claws to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor with clip.

      Tip:

      The illustration is for the corner LH side. The orientation for the other sensors is the opposite of the corner LH side.

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP

   Tip:

   Use the same procedure for all No. 2 ultrasonic sensor clips.

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw to remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor clip.

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

5. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER

   Tip:
   

   • Use the same procedure for all No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainers.

   • Perform this step only when necessary.

      Remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer.

      Tip:

      The illustration is for the corner LH side. The orientation for the other retainers is the opposite of the corner LH side.

   2. Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the rear bumper assembly.
