DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the radio receiver assembly judges that the maximum steering angle has not been memorized (steering angle setting is incomplete).

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note:

  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display assembly after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point (Click here).

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed (Click here).

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    PERFORM CALIBRATION


    1. Perform the following procedure depending on the memory conditions to register the vehicle information into the radio receiver assembly.


      1. Steering angle setting (Click here).


  2. Click here

    CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output (Click here).

      DTC C1694 is not output B
      Tip:

      • If DTC C1694 is output, perform the steering angle setting again.


      • If DTC C1694 is still output after performing the steering angle setting 3 times, replace the radio receiver assembly.
