DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the multi-media module receiver assembly receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly that indicates an internal malfunction.

Note


  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display assembly after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point Click here.

  • Depending on the parts that are replaced or operations that are performed during vehicle inspection or maintenance, calibration of other systems as well as the parking assist monitor system may be needed Click here.

PROCEDURE


  1. REPLACE SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly with a new or known good one Click here.

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output Click here.
