    CUSTOMIZE LEXUS PARKING ASSIST-SENSOR SYSTEM


    1. Customizing with the GTS

      Note:
      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the clearance sonar main switch on.

      4. Turn the GTS on.

      5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Clearance Sonar / Utility / Customize Setting.

      6. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Fr Sensor Onset Range Wide Sets the detection operation range for the front center sensors. Narrow*1 or Wide*3 Clearance warning ECU assembly

        Keep Sense Buzzer Avail Sounds the buzzer when the distance between the vehicle and obstacle does not change for more than 3 seconds.

        Fr & Rr Buzzer Volume M2 Changes the buzzer volume setting.

        L, M1, M2, M3 or H

        • H: High volume

        Clearance warning ECU assembly
        Temporary Mute Reset Speed Adjust 20 km/h Sets the vehicle speed at which the temporary mute function resets. 00: System Link, 01: 15 km/h, 10: 20 km/h, 11: 30 km/h Clearance warning ECU assembly

        • F Stop: All Front sensors are not available

        Clearance warning ECU assembly
        Non P/R Range Rear Sensor R Stop Changes the operation setting for the rear sensors when the shift lever is in any position other than P or R.

        R, Rcrn or R Stop


        • R: All rear sensors are available

        • Rcrn: Rear corner sensors are available

        • R Stop: All rear sensors are not available

    2. Customizing with Multi-display Assembly

      Note:
      • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

      • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      2. Turn the clearance sonar main switch on.

      3. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / LEXUS park assist.

      4. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
