DESCRIPTION

If an incompatible mayday battery is connected to the telematics transceiver, this DTC will be stored.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

    2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      OK
      No DTCs are output.

  2. Click here

    CONFIRM PART NUMBER (MAYDAY BATTERY)


    1. Check the mayday battery part number.


      1. Check if the part number of the mayday battery installed on the vehicle is correct.

        OK
        The mayday battery part number is correct.

  3. Click here

    CONFIRM PART NUMBER (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Check the telematics transceiver part number.


      1. Check if the part number of the telematics transceiver installed on the vehicle is correct.

        OK
        The telematics transceiver part number is correct.

  4. Click here

    REPLACE MAYDAY BATTERY


    1. Replace the mayday battery with a known good one and check if the same DTC is output again (Click here).


      1. Clear the DTCs (Click here).

      2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

        OK
        No DTCs are output.
