Tip:

The hard disk drive (hard disc) is compliant with the Serial Copy Management System (SCMS). Therefore, recording from a CD-R or CD-RW that is a copy of a commercially published music CD is not possible.

PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    CHECK SOUND LIBRARY SETTING OF HARD DISK DRIVE (HARD DISC) ON SOUND LIBRARY INFORMATION SCREEN

      Enter the "Sound Library Information" screen. Refer to Check Sound Library Setting in Operation Check.

      Click here

    2. Select "ON" for the recording function setting for hard disk drive (hard disc).

    3. Check if recording is possible.

      OK
      Malfunction disappears.
      Result

    CHECK FREE SPACE ON HARD DISK DRIVE (HARD DISC)


    1. Enter the "Sound Library Information" screen. Refer to Check Sound Library Setting in Operation Check.

      Check the free space on the hard disk drive (hard disc) on the screen.

    1. Check if the audio system is on.

      Tip:

      When the audio system is off, audio recording is not possible.

    CHECK IF RECORDING SETTING IS SET TO AUTO


    1. Check if the recording setting is set to AUTO.

      Tip:

      When the recording setting is set to manual, recording does not start automatically after a CD is inserted.

      Clean the disc by wiping it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.

      Note:

      Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.
