NAVIGATION SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:B15DA

DTC Code DTC Name
B15DA Rear Console Recognition Disconnected

DESCRIPTION

The multi-display assembly and cooler control switch assembly are connected by the AVC-LAN communication line.

The multi-media module receiver assembly is also connected to the multi-display assembly by the AVC-LAN communication line.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the multi-display assembly and cooler control switch assembly, this DTC will be stored.

Tech Tips

If B15DA and B15D6 are output, troubleshoot for B15D6 first.

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B15DA

When either condition below is met:

  • Cooler control switch assembly is/was not connected while the power switch is/was on (IG or ACC).

  • Communication between the master unit and the cooler control switch assembly is/was not possible when the hybrid system is started.

  • Cooler control switch assembly power source circuit

  • AVC-LAN circuit between navigation receiver assembly and cooler control switch assembly

  • Cooler control switch assembly

  • Multi-display assembly

  • Multi-media module receiver assembly

  • Harness or connector

Tech Tips

  • Even if no fault is present, this DTC may be stored depending on the auxiliary battery condition or hybrid system start voltage.

  • The multi-media module receiver assembly is the master unit.
