DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen.

Tip:

The certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) controls the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that are customizable via the multi-display assembly screen.

    CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM


    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (Click here).

      OK
      CAN communication DTCs are not output.

  2. Click here

    CHECK SMART ENTRY AND START SYSTEM (for Entry Function)


    1. Check if the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) is malfunctioning (Click here).

      Tip:

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function).

      OK
      No malfunctions are present in the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function).

  3. Click here

    CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Door Lock Settings" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

      Tip:

      These smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) items shown as customizable via the multi-display assembly vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In the following step, use the GTS.


      1. To match-up the items on the multi-display assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen (Click here).

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the smart entry and start system (for Entry Function) related customize parameters that are shown as customizable via the multi-display assembly screen.

      The items available for customization via the multi-display assembly screen can be customized successfully using the GTS.
