AUDIO AND VISUAL SYSTEM(except 8 Speakers), Diagnostic DTC:B15DA

DTC Code DTC Name
B15DA Rear Console Recognition Disconnected

DESCRIPTION

The multi-display assembly and rear control switch are connected via AVC-LAN communication.

The radio receiver assembly is also connected to the multi-display assembly by the AVC-LAN communication line.

When an AVC-LAN communication error occurs between the multi-display assembly and rear control switch, this DTC will be stored.

Tech Tips

If B15DA and B15D6 are output, troubleshoot for B15D6 first.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
B15DA Rear Console Recognition Disconnected

When either of the following conditions is met:

  • Rear control switch is/was not connected while the power switch is/was on (IG or ACC).

  • Communication between the master unit and the rear control switch is/was not possible when the hybrid system is started.

  • Rear control switch power source circuit

  • AVC-LAN circuit between radio receiver assembly and rear control switch

  • Rear control switch

  • Multi-display assembly

  • Radio receiver assembly

  • Harness or connector

Tech Tips

The radio receiver assembly is the master unit.
