ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM, Diagnostic DTC:C1451/72

DESCRIPTION

If air bleeding has not been performed, the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) stores DTC C1451/72 to prevent the entry of air due to pump motor operation.

DTC C1451/72 is stored when Invalid Mode is selected, the system will not return to normal until the air bleeding procedure is performed.

PROCEDURE

   CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL

   
   

   1. Check that the brake fluid level is sufficient.

      OK
      Brake fluid level is sufficient.

      Tip:
      

      • If the fluid level drops, check for fluid leaks, and repair as necessary.

      • If no fluid leaks exist, add and adjust the fluid level (Click here).

   
   
   • OKClick here

     CHECK AND REPAIR BRAKE FLUID LEAKS OR ADD FLUID

   PERFORM AIR BLEEDING

   
   

   1. Bleed the air from the brake system (Click here).

      Tip:

      If air bleeding has been performed, this DTC will be cleared.

   1. Check if the same DTC is output (Click here).

      Result
