REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

   INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Vehicle not Involved in Collision)

   
   

   1. Visually check for defects on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH installed on the vehicle.

      
      

      1. The defects to be checked are as follows:

         
         

         • Cuts on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH

         • Small cracks on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH

         • Significant discoloration on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH

         OK
         No defects are found.

         Tip:

         If any of the defects are found, replace the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH with a new one.

   INSPECT REAR SEAT INNER WITH CENTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Vehicle Involved in Collision)

   
   

   1. Visually check for defects on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH removed from the vehicle.

      
      

      1. The defects to be checked are as follows:

         
         

         • Cuts on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH

         • Small cracks on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH

         • Significant discoloration on the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH

         • Cracks or other damage on the connector

         OK
         No defects are found.

         Tip:

         If any of the defects are found, replace the rear seat inner with center belt assembly LH with a new one.
