DESCRIPTION

When the front power seat switch LH or front power seat switch RH do not receive a sensor signal despite forward or backward movement of the seat by power seat motor operation, this DTC is stored.

    CHECK FOR DTC


    1. Check for DTCs (Click here).

  2. Click here

    PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (SLIDE MOTOR)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Driver Seat / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Disconnect the X1 slide motor connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      X1-2 - X1-3 Slide switch on 4.8 to 5.1 V

      Reconnect the X1 slide motor connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the X10 front power seat switch LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      X10-5 (SSRS) - X1-2 Always Below 1 Ω
      X10-1 (SGND) - X1-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      X10-5 (SSRS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      X10-1 (SGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

      Disconnect the X1 slide motor connector.

    2. Check if the seat cushion moves smoothly when the auxiliary battery is connected to the slide motor connector terminals.

      Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

      Seat cushion moves forward

      Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      X9-4 (SLD-) - X1-1 Always Below 1 Ω
