| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| C1A50 | Brake System Malfunction |
DESCRIPTION
When the pre-crash safety system is operating, the driving support ECU assembly sends brake control signals to the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU).
When the driving support ECU assembly receives an electronically controlled brake system malfunction signal from the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) via CAN communication, DTC C1A50 is stored.
| DTC No. | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|
| C1A50 | While the power switch is on (IG), the driving support ECU assembly receives a electronically controlled brake system malfunction signal from the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) for 0.2 seconds or more. |
|
CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT
When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
First check the CAN communication system by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. After checking that there are no malfunctions in the CAN communication system, proceed with troubleshooting (Click here).
