C1A41 Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU

DESCRIPTION

The brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) receives brake control request signals from the power management control ECU and driving support ECU assembly.

When the request signals received from the power management control ECU and driving support ECU assembly are not consistent, the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) determines that a malfunction has occurred and sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU assembly.

If the driving support ECU assembly receives a malfunction signal, DTC C1A41 is stored.

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Check for electronically controlled brake system DTCs Click here.

      OK
      Electronically controlled brake system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM)


    1. Check for hybrid control system DTCs Click here.

      OK
      Hybrid control system DTCs are not output.

    NG

    GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM Click here

    OK

  3. REPLACE BRAKE BOOSTER WITH MASTER CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)


    1. Replace the brake booster with master cylinder assembly (skid control ECU) (See page for LHD, Click here for RHD).

  4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (PRE-CRASH SAFETY SYSTEM)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Crash 2 / Trouble Codes.

    5. Clear the DTCs Click here.

    6. Recheck for DTCs.

      OK
      DTC C1A41 is not output.

    OK

  5. REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU
