      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      -20°C (-4°F) 21293 to 22417 Ω
      0°C (32°F) 7188 to 7515 Ω
      20°C (68°F) 2758 to 2866 Ω
      40°C (104°F) 1179 to 1219 Ω
      60°C (140°F) 552 to 568 Ω
      80°C (176°F) 280 to 286 Ω
      100°C (212°F) 151 to 154 Ω
      120°C (248°F) 86 to 89 Ω

      Note

      When checking the engine coolant temperature sensor in water, do not allow water to contact the terminals. After completing the check, dry the engine coolant temperature sensor.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the engine coolant temperature sensor.
