  1. Supply Pump Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a fuel supply pump assembly is replaced, the fuel supply pump learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the fuel supply pump learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the fuel supply pump assembly.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      Note:

      Do not start the engine.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / Supply Pump Learning Value Reset.

      When the first screen is displayed, check the vehicle condition and push "Next".

      If an error occurs during learning value reset, check the vehicle condition, and then perform learning value reset again.

    6. A01IRO1

      When the screen indicating reset completion is displayed, push "Exit".

  2. EGR Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a EGR valve assembly is replaced, the EGR learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the EGR learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the EGR valve assembly.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      Note:

      Do not start the engine.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / EGR Learning Value Reset.

      When the first screen is displayed, check the vehicle condition and push "Next".

      Note:

      DTC P042F is output when performing EGR learning value reset. Therefore, after starting the engine, clear the DTCs.

    6. A01IP9D

      When the screen indicating reset completion is displayed, push "Exit".

    7. Start the engine 3 times and keep the engine speed above 3000 rpm for 3 seconds each time.

  3. Air Flow Meter Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a mass air flow meter is replaced, the air flow meter learning value and deterioration compensation stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the air flow meter learning value and deterioration compensation stored in the ECM upon replacing the mass air flow meter.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

      Note:

      Do not start the engine.

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / Air Flow Meter Learning Value Reset.

      Tip:

      If an error occurs during learning value reset, check the vehicle condition, and then perform compensation reset again.

  4. DPF History Information Reset

    Tip:

    • This value is the ash accumulation volume in the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (DPF catalytic converter) calculated by the ECM. If the ash accumulation volume in the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (DPF catalytic converter) increases, the difference in pressure in front of and behind the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (DPF catalytic converter) will increase. The difference in pressure in front of and behind the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (DPF catalytic converter) is offset depending on the volume of accumulated ash.

    • When an exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (DPF catalytic converter) is replaced, the DPF deterioration record stored in the ECM must be cleared.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / DPF History Information Reset.

      When the first screen is displayed, check the vehicle condition and push "Next".

  5. O2 Sensor Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a air fuel ratio sensor is replaced, the air fuel ratio sensor learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the air fuel ratio sensor learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the air fuel ratio sensor.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / O2 Sensor Learning Value Reset.

      When the first screen is displayed, check the vehicle condition and push "Next".

  6. Differential Pressure Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a differential pressure sensor is replaced, the differential pressure sensor learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the differential pressure sensor learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the differential pressure sensor.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / Differential Pressure Learning Value Reset.

      When the first screen is displayed, check the vehicle condition and push "Next".

  7. Swirl Valve Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a swirl control valve is replaced, the swirl control valve learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the swirl control valve learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the swirl control valve.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / Swirl Valve Learning Value Reset.

  8. Upstream Turbine Pressure Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a turbo pressure sensor is replaced, the turbo pressure sensor learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the turbo pressure sensor learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the turbo pressure sensor.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / Upstream Turbine Pressure Learning Value Reset.

      When the first screen is displayed, check the vehicle condition and push "Next".

  9. NOx Storage Catalyst Learning Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (catalytic converter) is replaced, the NOx storage catalyst learning value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the NOx storage catalyst learning value stored in the ECM upon replacing the exhaust manifold converter sub-assembly (catalytic converter).


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / NOx Storage Catalyst Learning Value Reset.

  10. Fuel PCV Compensation Value Reset

    Tip:

    When a pressure discharge valve is replaced, the fuel PCV compensation value stored in the ECM must be reset.

    This function is used to reset the fuel PCV compensation value stored in the ECM upon replacing the pressure discharge valve.


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

    3. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Utility / Fuel PCV Compensation Value Reset.
