KNOCK SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL KNOCK CONTROL SENSOR

      Install the knock control sensor with the bolt so that the knock control sensor is positioned as shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      The acceptable installation angle of the knock control sensor is between 7° upward and 10° downward from the horizontal position.

      Tech Tips

      Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the knock control sensor Click here

    2. Connect the knock control sensor connector.
