ECM INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ECM BRACKET


    1. Install the No. 1 ECM bracket with the nut.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

    2. Connect the wire harness clamp.

    3. Install the wire harness and 2 clamps.

    4. Install the nut.

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER

  3. INSTALL ECM


    1. Install the No. 2 ECM bracket to the ECM with the 2 screws.

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }
    2. A00056KE07

      Temporarily install the screw (B).

    3. Install the ECM with the nut.

      Torque:
      12 N*m  { 122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf }

    4. Install the screw (A).

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

    5. Tighten the screw (B).

      Torque:
      3.0 N*m  { 31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf }

    6. Connect the 2 ECM connectors and lower the 2 levers.

      Note


      • When connecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter is not stuck between the connectors and connecting part of the ECM.

      • Make sure that the 2 levers are securely locked.

  4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Click here.

  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER
