SHIFT LEVER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE SHIFT LEVER CAP

   
   
   1. 

      Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws to remove the shift lever cap from the shift position indicator.

      Note:

      Be careful not to damage the shift lever cap and shift position indicator.

   REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

3. Click here

   REMOVE FLOOR CARPET BRACKET LH

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX MOUNTING BRACKET

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the screw and No. 1 console box mounting bracket from the lower shift lever assembly.

5. Click here

   REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT

   Click here

6. Click here

   REMOVE LOWER SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Move the shift lever to N.

   2. 

      Disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

   3. Disengage the 2 claws to disconnect the transmission control cable assembly from the lower shift lever assembly.

   4. 

      Disconnect the shift lock control ECU connector.

   5. Disconnect the transmission control switch connector.

   6. Disengage the 5 clamps.

   7. 

      Remove the 4 bolts and lower shift lever assembly from the shift lever support.

   REMOVE SHIFT LEVER SUPPORT

   
   
   1. 

      Remove the 4 bolts and shift lever support from the vehicle body.
