OIL PUMP REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT WHEEL LH

2. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER (w/ Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

   Click here

3. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

   Click here

4. Click here

   REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH (w/o Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

   Click here

5. Click here

   REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH (w/ Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

   Click here

6. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

   Click here

7. Click here

   REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (w/o Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

   Click here

8. Click here

   REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (w/ Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

   Click here

9. Click here

   REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH

   Click here

10. Click here

    REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the fluid pump cover plug from the transmission oil pump cover sub-assembly.

    2. 

       Remove the O-ring from the fluid pump cover plug.

    3. 

       Remove the 5 bolts and transmission oil pump cover sub-assembly from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

       Note:

       Be careful not to drop the transmission oil pump drive rotor or transmission oil pump driven rotor.

    4. 

       Remove the O-ring from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP DRIVEN ROTOR

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the transmission oil pump driven rotor from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

12. Click here

    REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL PUMP DRIVE ROTOR

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the transmission oil pump drive rotor from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

13. Click here

    REMOVE OIL PUMP DRIVE SHAFT

    
    
    1. 

       Remove the oil pump drive shaft from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.
