HYBRID TRANSAXLE SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FLUID PRESSURE OF OIL PUMP


    1. Remove the front fender apron seal LH.

    2. A0005T0

      Remove the fluid pump cover plug and O-ring from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    3. A0005A6E04

      Install the SST to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      SST
      09993-19015   ( 09993-00020, 09993-00030 )

    4. Put the engine in inspection mode Click here.

    5. Measure the fluid pressure.

      Reference
      Engine Speed Fluid Temperature Transaxle Fluid Pressure
      900 to 1000 rpm 20 to 50°C (68 to 122°F)

      6 kPa (0.06 kgf/cm2, 0.9 psi) or more

      Note

      Be sure to cancel the inspection mode immediately after the transaxle fluid pressure check is completed.

    6. Remove the SST from the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

    7. Install a new O-ring and fluid pump cover plug to the hybrid vehicle transaxle assembly.

      Torque:
      8.0 N*m  { 82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf }

    8. Install the front fender apron seal LH.
