SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT LOWER BUMPER ABSORBER (w/ Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH

  3. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH (w/o Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

    Click here

  4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH (w/ Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH

  6. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (w/o Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

  7. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH (w/ Front Lower Bumper Absorber)

  8. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY


    1. A0005WL

      Remove the nut and separate the transmission control cable assembly from the control shaft lever.

    2. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and separate the transmission control cable assembly with clip from the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket.

    3. Remove the clip from the transmission control cable assembly.

  9. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER POSITION SENSOR

      Disconnect the shift lever position sensor connector.

    2. A00080U

      Remove the nut, washer and control shaft lever from the manual valve shaft.

      *1 Lock Plate

      Using a screwdriver, pry the tabs of the lock plate.

      *2 Lock Plate

      Remove the lock nut and lock plate from the manual valve shaft.

      Remove the 2 bolts and pull out the shift lever position sensor from the manual valve shaft.
