DESCRIPTION
The driving support ECU assembly uses the millimeter wave radar sensor to detect obstacles in front of the vehicle.
When the millimeter wave radar sensor assembly is replaced with a new one, it acquires the country specification information from the driving support ECU assembly. Also, when the driving support ECU assembly is replaced with a new one, it receives the country specification information from the main body ECU. When the country specification information in the sensor and ECU do not match, DTC C1A0A is stored.

PROCEDURE
READ VALUE USING GTS (COUNTRY# (F RADAR SENS))
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Data List / Country# (F Radar Sens).
Read the Data List and check the country specification information of the front millimeter wave radar sensor and ECU.

CHECK FOR DTCs (DTC C1A0A)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Clear the DTCs Click here.
Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
Drive the vehicle at a speed for which cruise control operation is possible.
Turn the cruise control system on using the cruise control switch (ON-OFF button).
Push the cruise control switch to -/SET to begin control of vehicle speed using the cruise control system.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Radar Cruise / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.
