FUEL PUMP REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP WITH FILTER ASSEMBLY

    Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump with filter assembly Click here.

      *1 O-ring
      *2 Fuel Pump Spacer

      Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump with filter assembly.

    2. Engage the 5 claws of the fuel pump with filter assembly.

      Note


      • Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during installation.

      • Engage the claws securely.

      • Do not remove the suction filter.

      Engage the 2 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support.

    4. Connect the fuel pump harness connector.

      *1 Tube
      *2 Fuel Sub-tank

      Engage the 2 claws of the No. 1 fuel suction support and install the fuel filter and the fuel pump with filter assembly onto the fuel sub-tank.

      Note

      Do not apply excessive force to the tube or the No. 1 fuel suction support.

      Align the groove of the fuel pump filter hose with the cutout of the fuel sub-tank and install the fuel pump filter hose.

    7. Connect the connector of the fuel pump harness.
