INTAKE MANIFOLD INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. SET INTAKE MANIFOLD


    1. Connect the fuel vapor feed hose to the intake manifold and slide the clip to secure it.

    2. Engage the clamp and install the vacuum hose to the intake manifold.

    3. Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

      Torque:
      10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

    4. Install a new gasket to the intake manifold.

    5. Set the intake manifold to the cylinder head sub-assembly.

  2. INSTALL FUEL DELIVERY PIPE

  3. CONNECT FUEL TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD


    1. Temporarily install the intake manifold with the 6 bolts.

    2. A0005TOE05

      Tighten the 6 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque:
      28 N*m  { 286 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

    3. Engage the 6 wire harness clamps.

    4. Connect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

    5. Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose to the intake manifold and slide the clip to secure it.

  5. INSTALL MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR

  6. INSTALL INTAKE FLANGE


    1. Install a new gasket to the intake manifold.

    2. Type A:


      1. Install the intake flange to the intake manifold with the 4 bolts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

    3. Type B:


      1. Install the intake flange to the intake manifold with the 3 bolts.

        Torque:
        10 N*m  { 102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

  7. INSTALL FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

  8. INSTALL FRONT OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RHD)

  9. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

  10. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

  11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER

  13. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK
