FRAME WIRE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION PANEL INSULATOR

    Click here

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST COVER RH

      Remove the clip (A) from the No. 2 front floor footrest cover RH.

    2. Disconnect the 5 clips (B) and remove the No. 2 front floor footrest cover RH.

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

      Remove the nut and disconnect the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly.

  7. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD PANEL

  8. REMOVE FRAME WIRE

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.

      *1 Shield Wire Ground

      Disconnect the shield wire ground from the No. 1 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the hybrid battery junction block assembly.

      Note

      Insulate the removed connectors with insulating tape.

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp and connector.

      Disengage the 3 claws and push the frame wire out from the floor panel.

      Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.

    6. A0005V4

      Disconnect the wire harness clamp and connector.

    7. Remove the 2 nuts.

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    9. Remove the 2 bolts and 4 nuts.

    10. Disconnect the 2 clamps and remove the frame wire.

      Tech Tips


      • When removing the clamp, break the claw on the clamp.

      • The clamp cannot be reused.
